“The West won the [modern] world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion…but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do” Samuel P. Harrington (Political Scientist). Organized violence has been the trademark of all patriarchal systems since men took over about 6000 years ago. It’s not men are ‘bad’ but that the calming influence of the feminine was crushed into silence as the hierarchal era of monarchies and Emperors took charge. The leaders’ names have changed but the hierarchal patriarchal system is still prevalent, although it is now waning as a new generation of humanity is finding its androgynous roots once again. If there ever was a time to rebuild the world in a way that works to honor life, that time is now – a new age where androgynous wisdom becomes the guiding frame of all decision-making and not profit generation. Humans, unlike other animals, fight over stories in their minds (Yuval Noah Harari, historian/philosopher) – things they imagine but have no true reality. Things the Cabal have instilled I them as essential, but they are only stories.
I was feeling annoyed when I wrote last week’s post. On looking through historical accounts of revolts by slaves, peasants and plebians, one thing that struck me was how often the oppressed, gaining some advantage, were willing to settle for, ‘it’s a little better than it was before.’ That strikes me more of a people who retained a victim consciousness while still allowing the hierarchical system to further abuse them. This is so typical of a patriarchal system.

“Humans are ecological beings. Like all animals, we require deep relationship with healthy, thriving ecosystems in order to be healthy and thriving ourselves. Humans are extraordinary landscape manipulators, and, when acting in right relationship, are a veritable keystone species essential to ecosystem flourishing and biodiversity…We did not evolve to live in concrete deserts devoid of the sounds of abundant life, isolated and atomized in built environments, under artificial light, spending our days on screens that bombard and hijack our emotions like a Times Square full of rage bait” Anna Mercury.
I have a friend that has been posting stories of ‘war heroes’ through the years. What was most poignant was not that these people were ‘heroes’ in an insanely violent world, but their actions spoke of something about humanity we have forgotten or ignored. He says, “For a number of days, I have been sharing the stories of people who made a decision that their lives and actions in traumatic moments were less important than the lives of people around them. Their unselfish actions, many that ensured their own life would end, were much more important than personal safety. These individuals chose the most difficult option that anyone has to select, to surrender the desire to live, to sacrifice one’s being, to give others life” John L.
The stories that John posts are important, not because the ‘heroes’ did what they did in what was a violent set of events, but that the true character of what it means to be human comes to the fore even in the worst of times. The gift of their unconditional sacrifice shows the rest of us what is the true nature of humanity – not the violent and fearful one, but the unconditionally loving and compassionate one.
A friend asked the other day how I see the ‘sustainability revolution occurring’ at this time. Major societal changes can happen quickly but tend to be bloody and violent affairs, e.g., The American Revolution, The French Revolution. But significant change usually happens over a period of time as in the case of the Medieval Renaissance. That is why I have termed what is happening, and note that I say happening not coming, the Nova Renascentia (see link). What I see happening more is how many people are taking personal responsibility for how they live their lives. I meet so many people that see the hierarchal systems as too corrupt to ever be fixable. No miracle turning of the monetary elites, just more of the same control and manipulation, unless WE take responsibility for our own behaviors and decisions.
The role of personal sovereignty is rising, even though many are afraid of being in charge of their lives – and crazy as its sounds would like to be led like sheep. I think they are just looking for something that seems more stable and fore-sighted about resolving the global problems that plague us all. If they do want to be led, let us, the awakened ones do the leading and show a better, more humane way to live in the world. WE are the wayfarers and it is incumbent on us to show the way. Not through derisive, draconian and fearful policies as seems the norm now, but through fruitful discussions with our peers on better ways to run our communities. When we take on personal responsibility and embrace empowered personal sovereignty we can remake the world in our image. An image of harmony, peace and compassion for all life.
We begin NOW. We create a world where LOVE drives our thinking and decisions. An old Rock song from 1970 by YES makes for a good mantra. Consider how much we have changed within just the last two generations since that song was released in terms of social changes and especially technological advancement. WE have change more in just 2 generations than we did in the preceding 500 generations. That is why I believe we are already making the transition. The old guard that dominated for so long is crumbling as it loses the traction that kept it in power. If the sheeple want leaders that promote peace and love, then let’s show them the way. Once they see how much better that path looks, the more that will follow our lead, and the Nova Renascentia will flower organically.
We will learn as we go along. It’s hard to let go of 6000 years of conditioning, but that is all it was, conditioning, to a long corrupt set of hierarchies and their power plays. Technology used with wisdom and a more balanced androgynous way of thinking promises us a future where equity is a priority, and life in all its forms takes an ecologically balanced harmony. I’m sure we will have disagreements, that’s normal, but we will value diversity in all its forms and live by new sets of values that promote equity and personal sovereignty as our communities’ blossom and thrive.
WE need to release the victimhood trauma that kept us so subdued for so long. That big trick of the hierarchies to keep us focused on their agenda has run its course. Time for us to throw off the yolk of oppression as so many great historic thinkers have referred to it and think for ourselves. Trust ourselves. We have all we need within each of us as a collective, from small communities to redesigned towns and cities built around sustainable principles. We can be proud of our individual cultures without the need for borders to tell us how we should interact with others who have different cultures. We learn from having different ways of looking at our global problems and ways to resolve them.
