A continuation of a fictional reflection by a hundred-year-old Espe from 2112 about the start and on-going movement of transformation to Sustainable Living. I add clarification links and quotes as needed.
As I write these journals about the Great Change (GC), you will have noticed that I keep coming back to the central tenet of the great change – TRANSFORMATION NOT REFORMATION! It was like in 1945 when the atomic bomb was used to destroy two cities with tens of thousands of people. Yes, it ended one of the worst wars in human history, but humanity had not developed the wisdom to contain the technology, hence the 44 years of the ‘Cold War’ between the political super powers of that time. While atomic power had its uses, the ability of technocrats to wield its destructive power was always the problem. You don’t give weapons to toddlers for obvious reasons, and humanity before the GC with atomic power was no better than that.
So much was happening to cause change during the 2020s but humanity’s mindset was still one of anger and violence as a way to resolve issues. If we had developed quantum technology before we transformed our mindset, I believe our global elites would have used quantum technology as a weapon. Its amazing humanity survived the ‘atomic age’ but it did so because enough people in authority recognized that ‘Mutually Assured Destruction’ was an insane policy, even if it kept us out of launching enough weaponry to literally destroy the planet. Before the GC there were many ‘war-hawks’ that still believed limited nuclear strikes could still be a way to remove ‘problems.’ Given quantum technology, they could not have resisted the desire to use it on smaller scales since it did not have the toxic consequences of atomic weaponry. Our historians now tell us that the global elites had orchestrated all the major wars and global problems as a way of controlling the mass of humanity.
Changing our mindset, literally was the razor’s edge of a live or die choice for humanity that would affect much of the planet’s life. Humanity would have been the life-extinction event usually seen by the cosmic impacts of the past half-billion years. The fact that I am drafting these journals means we made the right choices. But it could so easily have been a very different choice if we had abdicated our choices as we so often done when the Cabal took charge during the past five millennia.
We do so much based on value judgments. We use technology because it makes life easier and more comfortable. Before the GC we rarely did so with wisdom or what many indigenous peoples called ‘Seventh Generation Thinking.’ Existing indigenous peoples are a reflection of humanity used to look like. About 5 thousand years ago we lost our way and were coopted into accepting an empire mentality (see The Hierarchy 1 {February 2018}) with elites ruling over all aspects of our lives. We succumbed to the darker angels of our psyches. Violence, war, aggression, frustration, envy, hatred, lying as a common trait, and mistrust all fermented through a climate of fear drove us to be victims of our own Id and the hostile species we became – (Psychological theory). Only those isolated groups on the outside of these negative influences were able to retain, or at least a shadow, of what a spiritual humanity had once been here. Technology always progressed slowly, but technologies of war progressed faster as we sought better and more efficient ways to kill each other.
Back then we lived with highly polarized judgments that are merely negative or positive reflections of events (and each other) that we assign to something or some occurrence in front of us. We expected negative and manifested it to fit our expectations, all the while praying and hoping for a better world somewhere that echoed of a memory deeply hidden of the better angels we felt calling to us. Wisdom was always there guiding us when we occasionally listened and trusted it, but overall, our lives were driven by the fear ridden reptilian instincts of self-preservation and survival. That’s how the elites controlled us so easily.
All those millennia, we knew what needed to be done, but fear is insidious, and drives the negative aspects of the Id. The negative aspects in themselves are not a problem because they help us emotionally understand the world. It’s letting them dominate thinking that creates the problems. For instance, we still get angry in 2112 but we use it to understand what is happening that we do not like so we can use wisdom to resolve a situation instead of simply reacting.
Anger focused through a path of love and not retribution. It is all about our relationship with authority. In 2030, we finally realized on masse that we feared our authorities! Once we recognized that we could ask questions they did not want us to ask, such as “When did we feel fear of authority?” Authority before the GC came usually came from a place of fear and not from respect and trust. My father used to ask people, “How do you feel if police were to knock on your door?” This was a litmus test of the integrity of authority outside your personal sovereignty. In the past, we always complied because we somehow believed that authorities had integrity and were trying to act in our best interests – we now know this was a false belief, but it conditioned us for endless generations.
What was becoming obvious during the 2020s (something my parents instilled in me), ‘Giving an authority power to act in an emergency, and they will create an emergency to enact those powers to foster their control and power.’ That described the Covid era. The liberation of humanity around the planet was our ability to transcend the ‘pyramid of power’ into a circle of unity – limitation to liberation – The evolution of transcendence!
Now we see positive anything that unites us; what expands our humaneness, and what connects us. Negative is anything that diminishes, segregates, and separates us, and reduces our spirituality by creating limiting conditions. We thrive when we grow from how we consciously respond and not from reactive ‘negative’ conditioning. We learn from challenges and negativity because we grow from them. We now naturally examine our beliefs to recognize whether we are living consciously and authentically, or just living from unconscious habits and conditioning. Back before the GC, so many people felt worthless and powerless. But what scared the Cabal was that so many of us were becoming empowered in ourselves and demanding personal soverignty. Everything changed in 2030 when we finally took back our own power and stopped giving it away.
Those still trapped by old thinking had a hard time seeing that new thinkers were onto something, “And those that were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those that couldn’t hear the music” Friedrich Nietzsche. The music of hope, of change that meant something real was happening for good in the world. My father loved the novels by Tolkien and the films made from his books. My father would often use a quote by Frodo’s travelling partner, Sam, near the end of the of The Two Towers, when the hobbits have reached a really low point in their travail, “There’s some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it’s worth fighting for.”
Enmasse, people all over the world started taking back their power locally and then regionally. It is as well we did. We spoke with one voice that we were sovereign people and our governments are meant to be servants not taskmasters. Wisdom from compassion, Love, and a belief in abundance brought us together. “Very little is needed to make a happy life, it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking” Marcus Aurelius. As a young adult I occasionally felt despondent at the people still resisting change, but I fondly recall one of my grandmother’s and a song she often played to me to inspire me to go on as I worked to build a new world – it was by a popular music group from the 1970s.
