Regular readers will notice that I write a lot about how we think and how that in turn creates the world in which we live. Whether we get a dystopia or a utopia is completely dependent on what we believe that in turn creates the actions we support for either end of the dystopian-utopian continuum. I will cover more about thinking, but for now I want to cover a topic that if manifested will alter our lives in ways we do not yet understand. This is about information and what we support or don’t support – being aware and willing to understand a technology that affects our lives.
I attended a Town Utilities meeting the other day and was fascinated to learn that one of the agenda items was access rights and permission for wifi and cell (mobile) towers. In all the developed countries, and fast building in the developing countries, this the part of the infrastructure networks for utilities that occur in our modern world, that provide us with things such as power, water, sewage, roads, and wifi networks. Since people have to live near these utilities, they run through all the areas in which we live. The perceived social benefit requires easements, in which these utilities run, so they have unhindered access to them for maintenance and ‘upgrades.’
I have talked about Electro Magnetic Fields and the potential for health problems (See my previous posts Electro-Magnetic Radiation/Fields (EMR/EMFs)1-3). The more electronically advanced an area is, the more EMF radiation is seen in the background. From the lower EMF continually emitted from electric lines to the more toxic EMF associated with Cell phone towers providing us with fast 4G cell coverage. This modern age seems obsessed with speed. I notice so many people get irritated when they want to download something and it take a few seconds. On the horizon is the new 5G technology that speed hounds eagerly anticipate. To most this is simply a fast technology, but the reality is that 5G is more than just much faster wifi speed, it is a quantum jump in the EMF radiation soup we will be living (and dying) within. Please note what I say here – there are no safety checks at all carried out concerning this 5G platform. The worldwide Telecom Industry sees only more profit as more users subscribe to their faster services, and they have been actively pushing it with total disregard for any health problems – sounds a lot like Glyphosate (Roundup) on our food. The industry say harmless while the watchdogs show numerous studies of harm, but their voices are drowned out by big money interests.
Where ever you live in the world, if you have cell phone coverage you, will see Cell Transmission Towers. They tend to be wide spread and usually on some high spot to give greater range to any communities within the range. (A typical cell tower signal can reach 45 miles but depending on the service provider may be as little as 22 miles. The signal strength needs to be relatively high to ensure accurate timing of the cellphone protocol to work reliably.) Even in remote regions such as Rural Africa and Asia, cheap cell phone service is available. Most times the towers look like cell towers, but when I was in Morocco I saw cell towers disguised as large palm trees, and even in my town I saw a recently placed cell tower disguised as a pine tree. Making the towers acceptable is part of the telecom plan. They need them to get more customers and to improve the signal quality. Now for 3G and 4G that has worked quite well, although the now well-studied (over 1600 peer reviewed studies not talked about in the mainstream media) health effects of living in this unseen soup of EMF radiation is becoming apparent – more so the closer you live to a tower, but sensitive people seeing effects all the time even from electrical transmission lines. (Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity (EHS) is the medical term for a set of health symptoms whose cause is electrically based. It is also called Electrical Sensitivity (ES), Electromagnetic Sensitivity (EMS), EMF Aware, EMF injured, Microwave or Non-Ionizing Radiation Sickness, and other names.)
You know a technology is good when it is adopted by the military, and you know they are not using it for social benefit! The 5G technology can be used as a non-lethal weapon for crowd control. When it is focused on crowds it causes an acute burning sensation on the skin that makes people run away. Now what exactly is this 5G technology that will be inserted on top of your existing cell (mobile) phone technology to give you the ultra-fast cellphone signal? Firstly, 5G cell and 5G Wifi are not the same. In cell (mobile) phone the 5G merely means the fifth-generation system. For the carrier and wifi signal, it stands for 5 Giga Hertz which is where the wavelengths used will be microwave radiation. The microwave range is a wavelength between 1 mm and 30 cm and frequencies between 1 GHz and 300 GHz. The telecom corporations plan to use this 5G technology in the frequency range (600 MHz to 6 GHz) and also in millimeter wave bands (24–86 GHz) with 26 and 28 being the optimum frequencies to be used. Ok, this is techno-geek stuff, but the point I am making is that the 5G frequencies will be the carriers for faster signals in wifi and phone signal technologies.

The key factor to understand is that the 4G technology has slower speeds causing increased congestion of signal traffic, but it has a longer range and can pass through building easier. The new 5G will be much faster (over 20 times plus) but have a much shorter effective signal range – thus it will need higher frequencies with more power thereby increasing everyone’s exposure to harmful EMF radiation. And the kicker is that these telecom corporations have full legal power to do so and already have the easement rights to put up these extra cell antenna’s everywhere. And I mean one within 30 meters or 100 feet of everyone. This post is not to be alarmist, but to bring an understanding that just because a technology has some good points doesn’t mean we have to use it without the full environment health effects being studied – we seem to be the test subjects without our permission. A case study would be nuclear radiation. We really didn’t understand the problems with mild ionizing radiation (non-nuclear bomb) until we saw people suffering health effects from what were perceived as only mild doses of exposure.
