“Ecology and Spirituality are fundamentally connected, because deep ecological awareness, ultimately is spiritual awareness” Fritjov Capra.
Look at the list of words following describing negative emotions: Sadness; Disappointment; Despair; Hopelessness; Depression; Discomfort; Guilt; Shame, Anxiety; Anger; Fury; Hate; Wrath; Resentment; Rancor; Contempt; Animosity; Outrage; Malice; Revenge; etc. If you feel any one of these negative emotional states and more, then you have bought into the conditioning used by the Cabal and its toady hierarchy to keep us constrained and enslaved. As we approach the turning of the year of 2024, I believe that if we made a simple resolution to lift ourselves up and say, “No More of this Bullshit,” we could begin the shift to a better world immediately. We need to get savvy to the many ‘False Flags’ used to goad us into negative thinking and action. The Cabal uses us as political pawns in their global power and control games. WE do all the suffering and they gain all the pleasure of us doing it – that’s what sociopaths and psychopaths do.
However, when you observe and recognize these emotions occurring, you can transform them into something positive. Being aware of your ‘Emotional Intelligence’ (see link to earlier post) is a powerful tool for emancipating yourself both physically and spiritually. For example: Resentment, ties us to the past. It keeps us stuck in what “should have been” rather than allowing us to accept what is. But resentment is also an opportunity—a reminder that embracing the present moment can free us from the chains of old grievances. When we choose to live in the now, we transform resentment into peace.
Discomfort, though unpleasant, is an ally in disguise. It demands that we pay attention, signaling that something in our lives needs change. Leaning into discomfort teaches us courage, resilience, and the willingness to grow beyond our comfort zones. The more we embrace it, the more we evolve.
Anger, often misunderstood, is an emotion of passion. It illuminates what we deeply care about—our boundaries, values, and what we feel must change. Rather than suppressing anger, we can use it as a tool for transformation, channeling its energy into meaningful action and restoring alignment in our lives.
Disappointment may sting, but it’s a reflection of hope—proof that we dared to dream, to try, and to expect something better. Every moment of disappointment is a chance to realign, to learn, and to keep striving toward a life that fulfills us.
Guilt often arises from living by someone else’s standards rather than our own. It shows us where we may have acted against our values or been too influenced by others. But guilt also offers a way forward—an opportunity to reevaluate what truly matters to us and make amends in alignment with our authentic selves.
Shame runs deeper, often rooted in external judgment. It reminds us of how much we’ve absorbed others’ beliefs about who we should be. But it also holds the key to liberation. By confronting shame, we can strip away those false narratives and reconnect with our true, unfiltered selves.
Anxiety is a call to presence. It reveals our tendency to dwell on past regrets or future uncertainties, drawing us away from the grounding power of the present. By focusing on the here and now, we can calm the mind and find stability in what is, rather than what might be.
Sadness is a testament to our ability to feel deeply. It shows the depth of our love, our care, and our connection to the world. Though it may hurt, sadness also reminds us of our humanity—the capacity to engage fully with life, even when it’s painful.
Each emotion, whether it feels positive or negative, is a teacher pointing us toward healing, transformation, or deeper connection. By honoring and understanding these emotions, we not only grow but also learn to live more authentically. True transformation comes when we stop resisting our emotions and start embracing them as guides, opening the door to the most profound growth” #EmotionalIntelligence #SelfDiscovery.
In The Great Healing Part 18 (and elsewhere at-depth in this blog), I talked about Locus of Control. I bring it up again because it is crucial for you to accept just how much personal power you hold. I truly believe that each of us embracing our personal sovereignty will bring us out of the millennia’s long subjugation to make a better world. We just have to believe in ourselves and others. Psychology Today states, “‘Locus of control (LOC)’ refers to the degree to which an individual feels a sense of agency in regard to his or her life. Someone with an internal locus of control will believe that the things that happen to them are greatly influenced by their own abilities, actions, or mistakes. A person with an external locus of control will tend to feel that other forces—such as random chance, environmental factors, or the actions of others—are more responsible for the events that occur in the individual’s life. Overall, LOC research has shown that those with a more internal locus of control are more successful, healthier, and happier than those with a more external locus (see linked graphic).”
I know that from my own travels, and hearing from many of my well-travelled colleagues and friends, that people everywhere are not hateful and nasty – despite what the media try to convince you, that is not the natural human condition. When you are conditioned to be fearful, that is how you see the world. The reality is quite the reverse. People everywhere are kind and helpful – that is the natural human condition. The attached short story is an insight into how more often than not, when people need help, strangers in a strange place are helpful and collaborative (see link).
Fred Rogers (children’s show host) once said; “When I was a boy; I used to think that STRONG meant having big muscles; great physical power; but the longer I live; the more I realize that real strength has much more to do with what is NOT seen. Real strength has to do with helping others.” He also said; “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news; my mother would say to me; ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’ To this day; especially in times of ‘disaster;’ I remember my mother’s words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are so many helpers – so many caring people in the world.”
I say it’s a belief of how much power you think you have to make change. You have skills and talents that can help other people. WE get so used to thinking that only ‘special people’ can make a difference. Everyone can. As writer Henry Van Dyke said, “Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best.”
You can choose to believe that technology and technocrats will save the world; but just remember that the world got into such a sorry state because of thinking that humanity can somehow separate itself from the natural world by simple using technology and that the elites of the hierarchy were somehow the only ones endowed with the necessary skills. The greatest awakening you can have, is to realize that there is no separation of humans and environment. We as a species, as Aldo Leopold once wrote, “are merely a cog in the ecological machinery” of the planet. Always have been and I suspect always will. We hear on shows like Star Trek about terraforming planets, but if we eventually can, I suspect it will be a bit like trying to revive modern wetlands – we do best, as a wetland ecologist colleague of mine found out with his research (Bill Mitsch, OSU), when we set up the conditions and then let the natural world do its thing.
If that simple understanding that the natural world has its own innate ‘intelligence’ about how global ecology functions, then we can work with the natural world instead of trying to force fit our limited intellect on it with misguided dreams of control. This understanding is where spirituality arises, and as my opening quote for this post by Fritjov Capra emphasizes. Combining our emotional intelligence with a spiritual awareness of our connections for each other and the natural world, opens us up to our best spiritual selves and a transformation of humanity and the planet.
A Happy New Year, and we can begin our transformation in 2025!
